Inspired by the client’s taste for cosmopolitan luxury, the challenge was to realize serene comfort in the design of this suburban living space. The house was designed for an international couple with active children. The goal for this full renovation was to artfully combine an eclectic world inspiration and a New York City lifestyle without relying on obvious trends. The color palette is primarily cool neutral tones set off by dark ebony wood and glass mosaic flooring and furniture contrasting white leather bed, pattern wall coverings, and sheer draperies. Mood lighting on the ceiling makes an understated atmosphere for a relaxing evening.
